30 Days of Gratitude: Day 1

Happy November sweet blog readers!

Last year I did this really wonderful, “30 Days of Gratitude” during the month of November and I really enjoyed it. November has snuck up on me, like I am sure it has all of you, but I would love for you to join along with me this month.

This is the question I asked last year, What if you woke up today and all you had in your life was what you thanked God for yesterday? What would your life look like?

Pretty profound, huh? I think so, too! So let’s take this month to jot down some things we are thankful for every day. You can write it in a notebook (alongside your “Right Now” challenge bits and pieces) or even post about it on your blog each day. Trust me, it’ll be worth the small amount of time it takes to be in the moment and thankful for the blessings that fill your life.

Here is what I am thankful for today:

  • The cool crisp Fall mornings
  • Jack’s little pumpkin PJs
  • My husband getting to work from home one day a week
  • Making a budget and sticking to it
  • Caylin passing along some of her Halloween candy to me that she knows I like, “hello chocolate and peanut butter!” ;)
  • Watching Caylin go through the Target toy catalog and mark things she loves. I can remember doing that as a little girl, too!
  • Jack’s curls that stick out from the back of his head.
  • The sun shining through my window
  • My favorite Christian song playlist
  • Pinterest
  • My iPhone and instagram – loving all of the extra moments I’ve been able to capture since I’ve gotten it
  • Sweet friends who pray for me
  • Holding hands with Jack
  • Caylin’s new smile
  • Michael’s corny jokes
  • Insulin for my daughter (today starts Diabetes Awareness month!)

What are YOU grateful for?

  • “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20
