It’s Thursday – we’re almost to the weekend! Yay!
Today is Day 4 of “Be Inspired” over at the AMLT blog. Today’s inspiration piece is this super cute layout by one of my MOST favorite scrapbookers – Susan Weinroth. I think my favorite layout of Susan’s is EVERY SINGLE LAYOUT SHE CREATES. I’m serious. That girl has got some skill and not only is she super talented when it comes to scrapbooking, but she makes beautiful quilts, has the cutest baby nursery’s ever AND she takes beautiful photographs of her two super cute kiddos. How’s THAT for having all-around talent. Ha! Love her! I chose this layout to use as an inspiration piece:

I had a little 5×7 thin canvas that I painted that happy blue, used a scrap piece of that yummy yellow polka dot paper, added a felt flower with a button, some bright pink grossgrain ribbon, some of my most favorite Thickers (Subway) in white, a sweet white pom-pom trim and a small orange flower button. Super simple, super cute and with a positive message like that – it would make a super cute gift for a friend or just make one for yourself! :-D
Speaking of gifts – I was SO excited yesterday to notice that I now have 500 followers. In honor of that – I am going to give away the above framed print along with a $25 A Million Little Things gift certificate to one of my lucky blog followers. :-D All you have to do is simple – be sure you are following my blog because I’m going to use my followers list to draw a winner. Let’s see what else – oh you know I’ve always wanted a super cute business card, but never really had a NEED for one. Well, when I saw this great deal on business cards a couple months back, I figured I’d create a simple, happy one to give out for blog design purposes. This is what they look like:
