Happy 1st day of Fall!

Hi sweet blog readers!
How are you today? I hope you are doing great! I hope you all are planning on entering the great giveaway that you can read more about HERE in the post below! You have until Friday morning to enter! Today is just going to be a very random post of a mish mash of things. LOL. That’s how my brain works lately – being almost 36 weeks pregnant and all. ;) I’ve got some photos to share, some things that I found online that are inspiring me a GREAT deal and also a heads up about another chance to win a spot in the Blog Design Basics for Blogger class! Yep – lots to chat about so let me get to it! :-D

First of all, I am SO happy today is the official first day of Fall. I mean – we’re going to have a high in the mid-90s which does NOT make this pregnant woman happy, but I know that soon enough those temperatures are going to get cool, the pumpkin patches, hayrides, Thanksgiving festivities and leaves changing colors are going to take place. THAT makes me happy. Oh, and not to mention a sweet little boy will be in our arms. ;) Speaking of little boy – we’re all about little boy stuff at the moment.

Evidence:
I mean seriously. How cute are these little boy clothes hanging in the closet? I have washed almost all of them and just holding them has made me so giddy. I can’t wait until I can see the little guy in them. ;)
And what little boy would be complete without his first football from his Daddy? Awwww. ;)

Yep, we’re a bit excited around these parts. It’s quite a bit of a difference going from this:

to all of those boy colors, footballs, doggies, monsters and dinosaurs, but it’s a new adventure that I’m loving already. We’ve almost got everything we need for the new baby – just have to purchase a few other things and then we’re good to go and all ready for the little guy! I’ve got 25 days or less now – depending on when he wants to make his grand entrance. I’m hoping I have all 25 days. Still lots to do! LOL!

Even though we have a good dose of boy thing going on around the house we still have LOTS of girlie things – including the fact that now my daughter has gotten into baby dolls finally. I think having a baby come into the house sparked her curiosity and with all of the baby questions came her digging into our big toy box her Papa made her full of stuffed animals to find her lone baby doll, Zoe. After that – it was downhill from there. She now is the proud owner of a new baby, which she named Maggie (yes, just like our dog, LOL), a stroller, bed, car seat, feeding bottles, bath tub with accessories, etc. She’s got the works and it’s the sweetest thing watching her take care of her dolls.

Evidence:
Here’s my daughter feeding Maggie at a restaurant we ate at last weekend. :-D
It’s pretty darn cute that she insists on taking her everywhere, but the thing I don’t like is that I usually end up being the one carrying her at the end. ;)

Also going on here are birthday preparations. I definitely want to get them all done before the baby comes since my daughter’s birthday party is in the first week of November. Invitations have been designed and sent out. CHECK. Most of the decorations have been purchased. CHECK. I know what kind of cupcakes I’m making and have those baking items in the pantry. CHECK. Fourth year of photos movie is completed. CHECK. Now I just need to purchase a few more things for her party, including a custom tee shirt from the one and only Amy Tangerine (LOVE her & her tees!), a few more decoration items, a couple more presents and I have a couple of crafty things I’m going to make.

I am definitely going to make some more of this garland that I created a bit ago – just in her birthday colors:

and these cute little felt flags to stick in her cupcakes

Super easy to create and you know I have some felt! ;) Found HERE.

I LOVE all of the inspiration you can find online! Here are a couple other things that I found recently that I just love:

Boy do I love those colors! And then there’s this:

What a CUTE idea! I already collect blue Ball jars – I have about 6 – and well – what a cute idea. Can’t you just see bright ribbon in these or colorful twine? LOVE that. Sigh.

I also love these cute little guys:

Boy, has this turned into one long blog post! LOL! A couple more things before I forget – we’ll be announcing the prize winners for third round of Cards for Kids very soon and starting the 4th round shortly after that! Be on the lookout for that!

Also- today is One Buck Wednesday over at www.JessicaSprague.com so be sure to check it out! I LOVE Crystal’s Tons of Scallops Template kit. You can get it for ONE DOLLAR today only! Click HERE!

Now THAT is a great deal and templates are so easy to use! Lots of other great goodies over there!

One final thing – there is going to be another opportunity soon to win a spot in our blog class. I’ll be posting about just when and where soon – so check back! The class is going GREAT! If you haven’t had a chance to check it out – go HERE.

Well, I’ll stop my rambling for today, but you know I’ll be back with more! I hope your day today is a good one! I’m having some Greek food for lunch today so I’m excited about that. I’ve been craving Greek for about three days now. I just ♥ my hubby! :-D Hugs!

Mmm, boys clothes. I still say it's just as much fun to dress a boy as a girl, at least while they're young. I have Bell jars, too, but don't know if I could put a hole in their lids…have to think about that. And after Victoria was born, I have a darling photo of Isabella feeding her baby doll with a bottle, even though I nursed. It was so touching to see her caring nature coming out.

And, I looooove your garland. I will so have to do that project, too!
