3 In Happiness

Hi there!

How’s it going? Hope you are having a good day!
Just a few little snippets of what I’ve been up to lately …

Photobucket
Making little toppers for my daughter’s lady bug themed birthday party in a couple of weeks. She wanted doughnuts instead of cupcakes, hee hee, so what the birthday girl wants she gets. We’ll be sticking these little picks into the doughnuts.

Photobucket

Picked up some cute pink polka dotted plates, too! Now I just have a few more decorations to get and I have to make the photo movie. Every year I make a movie using my favorite photos that I’ve taken of her each year and put them to a sweet song. We watch it at her party and it’s just neat to see how much she’s grown in a year and think back to all of those memories. This year I’m using this song for her movie:

I just love that song. It’s so peaceful and just seeing photographs of my daughter flashing on the screen to this song makes me want to cry so I know I will. Every year I do. ;)

I’ll be back tomorrow with the layout I created for the Sketch It column over at AMLT. You MUST check it out tomorrow and join us. You can win an awesome prize. :-D

One more very important thing before I go.

I’ve got some Cards for Kate and Eric updates for you!
The Cards for Kate and Eric card drive is still going on. You have until October 31st to send in your card(s) for such a wonderful cause and to bring some smiles, laughter and love to Kate, Eric and their families. If you need more information you can go HERE. We have 90 awesome prizes just waiting to be won! How cool is that?
Jana has updated the list of cards they have received so you can go HERE to check that out. Kate’s Grandma and Mom e-mailed Jennifer and they both told her how much the family appreciates everything we are doing for them. (She plans to share their emails on her blog soon, she just wants to get their permission first.) So, for all of you who sent cards – you should feel really good knowing you helped someone miles away. :-D

Another important thing to remember is the Kit for Kate that my sweet and very talented friend, Crystal Wilkerson, created in honor of Kate and her family. It’s a beautiful digital kit FULL of gorgeous products. Here’s a preview of the kit:

Add to Cart

Isn’t it beautiful? You want to know the most beautiful thing about this kit? It has raised ALMOST $1,000 for Kate and her family to help pay for medical expenses. Isn’t that so wonderful? We would LOVE to reach that $1000 mark so PLEASE, if you haven’t already, click on the ADD TO CART button and donate a minimum of $5 (or more) to help such a wonderful cause and to get this beautiful kit that Crystal took the time to create. You have until October 31st and once that comes and goes – the kit will no longer be available so it’s really even more special because it’s a for a limited time only kit. Don’t miss out on it and more importantly PLEASE don’t miss out on helping this family. We’re almost to our goal and I would love to surpass even that. If you have any questions, please e-mail me and I know.

If you have already purchased this kit or if you are about to go and purchase it right now and donate – leave me a comment below this post. I will draw a name out of all of those who donate and I will be sending you a little something special just for being sweet. I think I mentioned this a bit back, but time got away from me, so if you already have let me know – just please let me know again so I have all of the names in one place. I will keep this open until the end of the month so if you can’t purchase it now, you have some time. Thank you for stopping by and please continue to help!

Check back tomorrow for some layouts and hopefully very soon I can share my exciting news with you all! :-D

I purchased Crystal's kit already, but have not even tried out the digital thing, yet. I'll figure it out one day and then I'll be hooked, I'm sure.

I love the idea of a birthday photo montage of the previous year. My son's birthday is coming up and I think I will try it :)
