4 In Happiness

The question of the day … every day…

Happy Friday everyone!

Hope you are having a great day! It’s a pretty cloudy and cold day here, but thankfully tomorrow is going to be beautiful! Yay! :) I just wanted to share a layout that I created earlier today for the Hero Arts Blog challenge of the week. The challenge is to create a layout or card with just ONE layer – that means only cardstock and no other paper. It definitely was a challenge to me, but that’s why I love their challenges. They always make you think really hard and usually that is when my creativity comes out more. It has been a bit since I’ve participated in the challenges since I have been so busy with assignments and such, but since things have slowed down just a little bit, I thought I’d take on this challenge. Oh, and you totally should, too! :)

Go to the Hero Arts blog here and get the details! :)

Caylin asks me ALL OF THE TIME if I’m her best friend. It’s so sweet and of course I answer that I am, but she continues to ask me. Hee hee. I wanted to document that with this layout. I used doodle Hero Arts stamps, a heart Hero Arts stamp, Hero Arts letter stamps and some of their beautiful paper flowers, too. Love the colors of those Colorbox inks, too. You can get all of that at Hero Arts online.

Oh, and I have some other cool news, too – KI Memories is offering some digital products now and they have one of my favorite lines – Pieces of Me (that Jill McDonald created) – included in those digital products. You can go here to see them! I just love Jill’s work and was so excited that KI Memories was releasing these again as digital products. I know they’ll make their way onto my blog soon. Hee hee! I also ordered some VERY cute new scrapbooking goodies that Jill also designed. Here are just a few of the goodies I got in the mail today that I can’t wait to play with:

Aren’t all of those just SO whimsical, fun and pretty? I LOVE the balloons paper so much. I’m seriously considering framing a sheet in a white frame and hanging it in my scrap studio. You know I got multiples of each paper, right? LOL! :) Anyway, if you haven’t checked out Jill’s blog and her fabulous work – you need to go here. She just posted another beautiful piece of work on her blog yesterday that I LOVE! :)

Ok, I think I’ve rambled on long enough for today! Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend! God bless!

Hello … I’m new to your blog! I hope you don’t mind if I add it to my bookmarks. I have been blog hopping lately and I just love seeing what every one has to share on their blogs :)

I think that’s the cutest thing that your daughter asks you that!
