Day in the Life | March 2020

I’m SO excited to have my March 2020 Day in the Life already complete and IN my album, friends! Eeeek! SO excited! I found that when I print out and complete a project shortly after doing it – I still have so much excitement from the project that it helps motivate me to get it finished and so that’s the thing I’ve been doing lately. As you can probably tell by what I’ve shared lately, I’ve been completing and sharing a lot more and that makes me SO happy! I kept it super simple (as always) and you can see most of these pictures (and journaling) on my Instagram account (you can find me @kristina.proffitt). Let’s take a quick walk-through of it, shall we?!

This Day in the Life I did just like Ali and completed the cards with the -ING prompts on them. I found it really easy to think about my day as I was going about our normal every day stuff and tried to be super intentional about what I documented. Once I had all of my photos, I printed them the next day and then took a day to figure out just how I wanted to put it altogether.

I chose to simply print out the photos roughly 3×3 – some where a bit taller, but it didn’t really matter to me. It really depended on how much journaling I had to print onto the card and how much space was left. After I printed the journaling onto each card, I adhered each photo, added some embellishing here and there, stamped the time and was good!

I even did a little prep work for the NEXT Day in the Life that will take place later this year. I thought it would be fun to use the polka dot tag as a little divider, added a chipboard piece to it and then punched the hole a bit bigger in the “right now” tag and put it in the album. I love the pop of red with the turquoise and I’m excited about documenting with a “thankful” lens later in the year!

If you have any questions about this album or anything you see in this post – reach out and let me know! Thanks so much for stopping by!
