In Happiness

Wanna help make a difference? I hope so!

A very sweet friend of mine, Jennifer McGuire, is organizing a card drive to benefit cardsforheroes.org. Cards for Heroes is “a group of hundreds of private citizens – artisans, paper crafters, card makers – who have come together through our common love of our craft and our desire to honor our armed forces serving on our behalf. Regardless of what we think about the conflicts currently going on around the world, we can agree that our heroes are brave, honorable, and deserve our support! The cards allow them to keep in touch with their loved ones, and thus we get to also bless the families who bravely keep the candle in the window at home.”

What a wonderful and giving thing for all of us to be a part of. Jennifer and the Hero Arts stamping company (which is an amazingly generous and wonderful company with awesome stamps!) are teaming up to organize this card drive and you can find out more information (like where to send the cards, etc) here at Jennifer’s blog: http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/ and here at the Hero Arts blog: http://heroarts.com/blogs/club/.

It is such a great way to give back to these wonderful men and women who serve in our Armed Forces and at the same time you can be creative and maybe even win a great prize! I hope that you’ll help us out and also spread the word to your family & friends via word of mouth and through your blogs so that this card drive will be a huge success. Anything you can make would be greatly appreciated! Let’s also keep the military and their families in our daily prayers. I grew up in a military family and I know how difficult that can sometimes be and we all need to do what we can to support and help these amazing service men and women and their families.

Thanks so much! God bless ya’ll!
