My sweet friend, Jennifer, recently started this challenge and I wanted to be sure all of my friends here knew about it because it’s just too wonderful and amazing NOT to know about it and you NEED to be a part of it. :)
The Share Handmade Kindness Challenge is challenge for this month to create some kind of handmade encouragement – whether that be a handmade card, write a simple note, bake some baked goods, etc – just whatever way you love to make something – do that and give it to someone to spread kindness and encourage someone. Kindness really does have a ripple effect. Jennifer is posting weekly challenges that will help you get involved and give you some simple ways that you can make a difference and she’ll inspire you at the same time.
This week’s challenge is all about COMMUNITY. It’s simply making something and giving it to someone in the community who provides a service, whether that be your mailman, the garbage man, doctors, teachers and so on.
I just love Jennifer’s heart and this is just such a wonderful, positive, joyful thing to be a part of, so I hope if you aren’t participating yet, that you will.
