I just wanted to give you all a heads up that the new kit that I collaborated with Crystal on is up for sale now in her shop! Yay! So if you are one of the 706 folks who follow my blog using the Google Friend Connect (above), that means that you will no longer receive my posts in your Blogger dashboard, and I won’t be able to get new followers using that gadget in my sidebar. So basically now that gadget is pretty useless and I’ll be removing it from my blog soon.

There are some other ways that you can follow my blog to know when a new post is going up and so I thought I’d share those with you quickly so that you don’t miss out on any posts and because I love my blog readers and don’t want any of you to not be able to catch the latest posts here.

At the top of my blog you will see these icons:

Clicking on the pink button will take you to Feedburner where you can subscribe to my blog and you can receive my blog updates right in your inbox or you can get the updates in your reader, like Google Reader. It takes no time to set up at all and that way you won’t miss a beat when it comes to reading One Happy Mama.

• Another option I’ve been recently told about is Linky Followers. I’ve added the widget below my GFC widget so you an click on it to follow my blog. I’ve gotten some comments and emails about it and folks seem to really love it! I’ve signed up and it was easy and it’s FREE.
• There’s also BlogLovin’, which I totally forgot about. That’s another option!

I also Tweet about every new post and I make sure to post on Facebook as well so you can click on those icons and follow that way as well.

Today I’ve got a special treat for you! An awesome giveaway! Yay! I LOVE giveaways!! First let me talk about my week 7 really quick.

This week I used some goodies from the Clementine Core Kit that I love and also some goodies from the Martha Stewart office line at Staples (Thank you, bestie!!). I threw in some thickers, flair and I’m loving my stapler lately so I any little bits I can, I staple. LOL! Also, this week I used cards from the kit that Crystal and I collaborated on. You can see the cards from the kit on this page – “hello there life” and “A Story from Today.”

On the right side, I used more Martha Stewart labels, the sweet tag I created using the March Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp, another 4×6 card from the kit Crystal and I put together and I also cut out a piece from the Nashville Symphony pamphlet from our field trip last weekend and included that.

I added a 8.5×11 page protector to this week to include the sweet cards I got for Valentine’s Day from my husband and kids. I stapled one of the 3×4 cards from our new kit to the side and added a label as well.

I’m going to have more details and previews of the new kit that we’re releasing up on my blog soon once it’s in Crystal’s shop, which should be later today. I promise that you’re going to love it! It’s a BIG kit FULL of cards in all different sizes that fit in multiple Project Life page protectors and they are also great to use on cards and on traditional scrapbook layouts. So many ways to use them! I’m excited to show you more.

I just wanted to pop in to update you all on the status of the Two Happy Mamas Blog Design Studio. Back in December I was thinking that I was going to close down the studio and stop taking orders. I’ve been on a bit of a break and really limiting the amount of orders that I was taking for a awhile now and just felt like since I wasn’t able to devote that much time to it anymore and had some other creative endeavors that I was working on, that I would concentrate on those. I kept getting inquiries about doing blog design and would work on some here and there. In doing that, I realized that there was still interest in the blog designs and I also realized that keeping the studio open could help greatly with a new medical bill that we have for our daughter, so I decided that instead of closing down the shop, I would update the website, add a few new designs and retire some of the older ones and that’s exactly what I did. It’s refreshing!

I am mainly accepting only predesigned blog orders, but will take on ONE custom design a month so if you are wanting a more custom, unique look you can email me and see if there is a waiting list and if so, how long it is.

So, I’m happy to report that Two Happy Mamas Blog Design Studio IS open for business. It’s new and improved and I’ll be adding MORE designs every month. So check out the website HERE and also head on over to our Facebook page HERE and like us to get the latest news, specials and giveaways!

I had the pleasure of being sent this beautiful March Card kit from one of my most favorite scrapbook sites online, Simon Says Stamp. You MUST check out this website if you haven’t already. I love ordering from Simon Says Stamp. Their product selection is great, prices are wonderful and the folks there, well that is the best thing about Simon Says Stamp – Heidi and the rest of the folks there are the sweetest that I’ve ever encountered. I’m serious. Heidi also has a heart of gold. (Love you, sweet friend).

So when she surprised me by sending me this kit, it totally made my day. I wanted to share with you the few things I’ve been able to create with the kit (so far) and to just give you all a heads up on the great store that Simon Says Stamp is and how awesome their new monthly card kits are. Happy Project Life Tuesday to you all! Here are my pages for week six!

Keeping it simple, like usual. Included a photo of Jack’s current favorite book, the big Lightning McQueen puzzle Caylin and I put together during a big puzzle-putting-together fun we had the other day. Also, snapped shots of both Caylin and Jack in their rooms playing. I snuck around the corner for both photos and took them without them knowing on different days. Also included one of the super sweet cards that says “This is the good life.” Love those yellow stripes! You can find those cards for sale HERE. On this side we have some little bits and pieces like a quote put on a journaling card that Caylin said this past week. I love adding quotes. They not only make me giggle, but I’m happy to jot them down with the excitement of placing them in my Project Life! There’s also a cute camera graphic that you can download for free HERE. Oh, and while I was working on my pages, Caylin sweetly came up to me and give me a cut out heart and a ladybug sticker and said, “Mama, can you put these two things in your Project Life this week? They are from me to you because I love you.” Now how could I say no to THAT? Too stinkin’ cute and sweet. I just love that kid and love that she is excited and loves Project Life, too! A couple other photographs and then the week title and that’s it!

Happy Project Life Tuesday you guys!

I hope you all are having as much fun as I am with Project Life! It has been such a breath of fresh air every week! I get giddy every time I slip something into one of those little pockets! Ha! I’m a dork! Anyway, here are my week five pages:

On this page I’ve got my week five card and then a couple of journaling cards describing the photos on that side along with one of my journaling cards so that I can remember a funny thing that Caylin said. Love jotting down those silly quotes and using them in my album. I know I am going to love looking back and reading those! You can find those journaling cards HERE. They’re on sale now for $1!

Also on my left page, I used some American Crafts embellishments (Thickers, Flair and a super cute Amy Tangerine camera sticker) and I printed out the logo to a creative workshop I’m attending in March since it was a present to myself (I had a birthday last week).

Since my birthday was last week, I used an 8.5×11 page protector and slipped the sweet birthday card from my kids into it. I’ve got to find the other cards I got and I’ll slip those in, too. Then I took one of the super cute cards from THIS kit and stapled it to the side of the protector. If you haven’t checked out those cards yet – you must! Crystal and I created them to raise money for a sweet girl named, Claire. You can read all about that HERE. :right:

The right side has more photos and journaling cards. I also included the sweet little handmade Valentine that Caylin and I made for her friends last week. We had a little homeschool group get together and everyone exchanged valentines. Caylin and I had so much fun making them together and I wanted to be sure I kept one so we made an extra one. Be sure to save one and include it in your album!
