Need a last minute gift idea? Osmo is bursting with fun!

Ok, friends – so Christmas is right around the corner and your Christmas shopping isn’t exactly done just yet. Well, don’t panic because I’ve the PERFECT gift for your kiddo!

My kids have been having so much fun playing with all of the awesome Osmo games and I just know that they’ll be a big hit in your family, too. If this isn’t your first stop to my blog, you’ve probably seen me share about Osmo and some of the other awesome games that they have come out with in the past, but this game I want to share with you is one that my kids not only play and love, but it’s actually great in our homeschooling, too. Yep, you read that right. My little ones might think that they get a little school break this Christmas (and they will), but I know they’ll be playing this too and learning all the while. I’m so sneaky like that. ;)

The cool thing about Osmo games is that kids are learning and they really don’t even realize it. We, as parents, know it though and can see just how much value these games bring our children and so that’s why I love Osmo and I love to share it with all of you.

Recently I was sent the Osmo Genius Kit and I have to say that my little homeschooling Mama heart was a tad-bit excited. The games looked so fun, but here’s the kicker – I knew my kids would LEARN with them, too. I’m not the biggest fan of video games – I’ll be honest with you – but when it comes to the interactive games Osmo creates, I make an exception because with these games I know that there is way more involved than just “playing.” When my kids are playing with an Osmo game they are: questioning, giggling, using their imaginations and problem-solving. They are stretching themselves, learning skills like math concepts, reading, spelling, developing their art skills, exploring, solving puzzles and more.

I love how Osmo says that its games are “play beyond the screen” because that describes them perfectly.

Wouldn’t you love to gift your child something that they’ll not only love, but that will encourage them to learn and show them just how fun it can be? They are seriously the gift that keeps on giving all throughout the year.

The Genius Kit includes 5 hands-on games that your child can play, three stackable storage containers (I LOVE these), the game pieces for the apps  + it includes the Osmo base as well, which you need to play all of Osmo’s games. You will also need to have an iPad on hand.

Exploring the Genius Kit your child will learn:

• Number sense and math confidence

• Spatial sense and visual acuity

• Reading and vocabulary

• Creativity and problem solving

• Hand-eye coordination and self expression

There seriously are surprises and so much fun around every corner when you play an Osmo game.

Osmo really does turn the iPad into a hands-on learning tool and it would be a perfect gift under your tree this Christmas.

Luke and I both were having so much fun playing the new games. We were dancing to all of the great music that was on the Tangram game. We couldn’t help but smile and he couldn’t help but wiggle in his seat as he grabbed each shape piece to recreate the puzzle. The characters are just the cutest and I can’t get over how interactive each game is. They’re very cool and innovative. Screen time means more with these games.

Luke enjoyed playing all the games in the Genius Kit, but I think his favorite was the Words game because he got the biggest kick out of seeing the real-life photos of each animal as he played the game. He also loves spelling, reading and words in general and so it was neat to see that genuine love for those spill into this game as he played it and had lots of fun.

There are over 30,000 schools using Osmo in their classrooms and I really think that speaks volumes for the value that they can add to a child’s life during their formative years.

In my book, the folks at Osmo are definitely geniuses and this Genius Kit is for sure going to be a hit with your little genius at home. I love investing in good toys + games that have purpose and value. If you do too, then now’s the perfect time to gift this fun game to a child that you love and put it under the tree.

Oh, and friends – order your Osmo goodies by December 17th and you can get it for under the Christmas tree via FREE ground shipping, so be sure to head on over to their website HERE and place your order. Christmas shopping has never been so easy.
