Project Life: Back to sharing

Ok, so despite my lack of posting my Project Life pages here on the good ol’ blog – I actually HAVE been finishing up 2016 and still taking photos this year and so it won’t take me long to get back on track with 2017 even though I’ve yet to do a single page for this year. Whoops. Life has been crazy and I have not made it a priority to sit down with my photos, stories and pretty products like I know I should. Why do we (as Mamas) always put the things that WE enjoy on the back burner all of the time? I think it’s because of that “Mama guilt” that creeps in. Yep. There is just SO much on our plates. So much that we’re juggling that we get everything else done and make THAT a priority and don’t take the time for US. I’ve honestly been working on that the past year and making sure that I carve out that time (even if it’s just 15 minutes) to do something that I love during the day. Right now working out (although I do NOT love doing it, ha!) is what I’ve pushed up to a priority to focus on my health & wellness, but I need to be sure I take some time to be creative each day because THAT is what I really love. Yep. Work in progress, for sure. I’m sure I’m not alone, right? So here we are. I’m going to get back to posting more pages and what I’m working on creatively as well. This spread is from back in JUNE. Yep, June, friends. I am going to be sprinkling Project Life spreads here and there throughout the weeks ahead to get caught up with my sharing.

Like usual, I use DESIGN A page protectors and then have stuck some inserts into this spread since they all fall around this time frame. I also used some goodies from the January Freckled Fawn embellishment kit, which I LOVE.

The cards used in this spread are older Studio Calico Project Life cards. I’m trying to really start using up my supplies – I’m a bit of a hoarder when it comes to some things. Gotta change that and actually get them IN my albums.

The little white foam heart, “giggles” foam sticker and the cool colored sticker on the paint set photo are all from the Freckled Fawn kit. I love the foam stickers! The cool shaped/colored sticker on the photo was actually folder over the photo and then I stamped the date on it.

Here’s a close up of what I did with that sticker.

This layout is an older one that I did about Luke’s love of donuts. I shared it on my blog HERE.

The backside has another layout that I did that I shared HERE. This layout always cracks me up! Ha!

Then in the middle of this spread I included the sweet little watermelon insert that I did about Luke. It has a lot more Freckled Fawn from over the Summer. You can see these inserts HERE.

On the other side of the spread there’s a 4×6 card from the Confetti Edition that I designed and a 3×4 card from Freckled Fawn that coordinates with the January kit that I’m using.

The “My heart is full” sticker & “love” circle sticker is also from the kit.

The wooden talk bubble and foam “hi” sticker is from the kit, too! I just love using embellishments from the kit and layering them! So many great embellishments and textures to choose from in every kit!

Feels good to share some pages again, friends. I’m going to share some more pages this week! Gotta get back in the groove! XO!
