Day in the Life | July 2016 : Completed Pages

Hi friends! Happy Monday to ya!

I finally got around to finishing up my Day in the Life pages over the weekend. I THOUGHT that I had some DESIGN F page protectors, but nope and so I kept meaning to order some, but always forgot and then I finally remembered, got them in the mail and it all came together super easily, which I am thankful for because life has been busy and it’s about to get even busier with school starting.

So here are my pages – I kept them super simple, like I said, and really created them a lot like Ali. I loved her take on it all, I loved the look of it and thought, “If it ain’t broke – don’t fix it!” Ha! So, this isn’t anything new and amazing, but I’m so thankful to have these photos and these memories down. I LOVED this project! You can go HERE to get an up close view of all of my photos.

So, I used DESIGN F page protectors for these pages and I’m just going to stick these right into my Project Life album. Just like Ali, I also had an entire back of a page that was blank and so I’m not positive what I’m going to do with that just yet, but something that tells a story. :)

I purchased the large black chipboard letters to spell “SAT” at the Studio Calico warehouse sale and just love them! They’re actually Ali’s letters.

I love how big and bold it is. :) I then added the sticker “the story of today” on the card, along with the smaller round camera sticker that came in the kit. I stamped the time that I did the project (8am to 9 pm) and then stamped the date as well.

I did use a couple of the die cut talk bubbles that were in the DITL kit.

I filled out the cards using the journaling that I wrote down the day of the project (so it was SUPER easy to get done) and I did just like Ali and used the little round stickers on the card, too. I loved the look of it and how clean and simple it all is.

DITL7

I did use a lot of the stickers from the kit as well and placed one on just about every photo, if not every photo. :)

The “click” 4×6 card is one that I designed for Becky Higgins that is an exclusive Project Life mini kit for her top 10 customers every month. I just love that camera. :) I love how it coordinated with Luke’s shirt so perfectly! Ha!

For the 4×6 pocket on this page, I simply cut a piece of kraft cardstock 4×6 and then cut a piece of polka dotted vellum to that same size and stapled it on top. Then just adhered the talk bubble die cut to the top!

Another Day in the Life in the books, friends! LOVE how simple this was, both the picture taking and the adding it to the pages. I highly recommend you particiate in the next one, friends! You will LOVE what you capture! To find out more about Day in the Life, check out Ali’s website HERE.

Have a great rest of the day!

XO!

[…] Ok, so I know it’s almost January and I did this project back in October, but y’all – it’s done. Finally. Ha! I loved the way it turned out and it really was a very simple project, I just kept putting it on the back burner, but I’m glad I took the time this weekend to finish it. This is my third time doing Day in the Life and I just loved it once again. You can see the other times I did this project back in HERE and HERE. […]
