Project Life Tuesday + Freckled Fawn

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! I thought today I’d FINALLY get back to posting some Project Life pages since it has been a bit! Between all of the Week in the Life pages and just life being super busy, I wasn’t completing that many page spreads to share, but I’m starting to pick it back up again and catch up so watch out – I’ll have plenty to share! ;)

PL1

Today I’m sharing some pages that I recently completed using the July kit from Freckled Fawn called,”Sweet Treats.” Oh my word is it full of yummy goodness.

PL2

I used the standard DESIGN A page protectors like I normally do. Those are my go-to page protectors. ;)I also used some cards from the collection that I designed called, Confetti, and some other editions like High Five and Midnight. You can pick up the Confetti Edition HERE at beckyhiggins.com!

PL3

The “Hello Wonderful Memories” card is from my edition, Confetti. I just love that card. :) The chipboard pieces in the kit are perfect to embellish photos! I loved the “COOL” chipboard and placed that on a photo of my son lining up all of his little Pokemon figures.

PL4

I used another chipboard on this photo of my son. I thought it would be cool to offset the chipboard in the middle of the photo. I love the look!

PL5

I just love the cork arrows and thought it would be cool to staple one to the top of this photo. I simply cut off the bottom of the arrow so I had a flat line and then used my tiny attacher to add a staple to it. I THEN adhered it to the outside of the page protector. I then a happy and fun embellishment from a past Freckled Fawn kit and added it to the arrow. Simple, but so cute!

The vellum strips are so fun and easy to use, too! I used the TODAY strip and simple just cut a piece off of it and adhered it directly onto my photo. Then I used a Slick Writer Pen and wrote on the photo below it.

PL11

My daughter kinda wants a cat. Can you tell in the photo she drew and left on my desk? Hahahaha! I wanted to include it in this spread and so I just stapled it to a 4×6 card, added the date below it and then used one of the heart chipboard pieces on it.

PL12

I love how you can dress up a simple 4×6 card with an embellishment and that’s just what I did with this really cute square chipboard in the kit. It doesn’t get much easier than that, folks! ;)

PL13

Another chipboard on a photo, this time added to the middle towards the top (once again to give it a bit of a different look) and then I used a couple of the super cute (and fun!) puffy star stickers, too! Oh my word, I love them!

And lastly I used one of the really cool wooden polaroid frames and embellished it with an acrylic heart in the kit.

These kits are SO much fun to incorporate onto my pages! The amount of embellishments you get is fabulous and I love how they all coordinate and are simple to use, not to mention are really, really, cute!

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!
