Week in the Life: Wednesday

Hi friends!

Today I’m sharing my completed Wednesday pages from my Week in the Life album.

1

Once again I started the day off with the chipboard day of the week divider and then the 6×8 page protector with photos.

2

I added the chipboard “hello Wednesday” to the photo (like in days past) and this time added the little “this photo” sticker phrase below it. I just love this photo that I snapped of Luke and I. I wasn’t looking my best (had just worked out), but he wanted to snuggle and so I grabbed my photo that was behind us on the sofa table, set up the timer and then placed it on the other side of the sofa and we just smiled. Simple as that and I’m glad that I didn’t worry about what I looked like because this photo touched my heart. It’s funny how us Mamas (and women in general) always think we’re not good enough or don’t look good enough when we’re in photos. We have to get over ourselves and stop that nonsense, ya know? Our kids are NOT going to remember what we’re wearing or how our hair and makeup looked in a photo. They are going to remember us IN the photo. 3

I stamped the “week in the life” circle from the stamp set in the WITL kit and just punched it out with a circle punched and adhered it to the photo.

6

Maggie cracks me up when I’m trying to exercise. She’s always going under and around me. Her tail is in my face numerous times throughout my workouts. I’m going to miss it one day, I just know it, so I’m glad I captured it.

Another 4×6 photo with the “story of today” card. This time I put a smaller photo on the card and journaled a bit about it. I switched this up throughout the week. I just went with the flow and did what I thought was best for that day depending on the amount of photos + stories I had. 9

I think I might add an embellishment to that striped 3×4 card. I meant to, but never did and now looking at this photo, I think it needs a little something.

10

11

I adhered the “everyday” rubber embellishment to one of the 3×4 cards – super simple. 12

I also included 2 additional 4×6 cards for this day by once again adhering them together, punching some holes in them and putting them directly in the album. I used the 2 inch Avery tab again as well.

13

I added another rubber embellishment – just stapled the sucker right on the photo, and then a phrase sticker, too!

14

Here’s the back! :)15

16

I had to do this shot of Luke on the potty with “everyday life.” It totally was that week with him being newly potty-trained! Ha!

18

And here’s the final page of the day! I secretly sneaked TWO photos of my husband into this day! One of him exercising (I’m just SO proud of him! He’s lost almost 40 pounds and looking sooooo great!) and then another one of him napping with Luke. They’re napping buddies! Ha! So happy to have more photos of myself, Michael and Maggie in the album this year!

Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! I’ll be back to share more tomorrow! Going to try to share Thursday + Friday pages. We’ll see if I get all of the pictures edited and ready to go in time! Have a great rest of the day! XO!

Awesome pages! I am with you on the whole ‘thinking we don’t look good enough’. At first, it was really hard for me to get myself in pictures with my glasses, and no make-up, and my ‘just around the house’ clothes on… but you are so right! Your kids aren’t going to look at that picture and think “Oh, Mom’s not wearing any make-up!”, especially since I’m not wearing make-up about 70% of the time they see me anyways!! And that is a beautiful picture of you and your son, you can see such love in it :) And LOL about the workout picture with the dog! So great.
