Week in the Life: Monday

Hi friends!

I don’t have any Project Life pages to share with you today, but I DO have my Monday Week in the Life album pages! Yay! I finished up my album and finally got around to photographing it and so I’m going to share it all right here on my blog for you to see!

WITL1

I love the album I decided to get with the WITL kit – it has “stories” written in white all over it. I’m in love with it.

WITL2

Ali did this in her album and well, I loved it and totally copied it. It inspired me and so I just did it, too! Ha!

WITL3

Last year I took a photo of all of our shoes for the cover photo and I thought I’d keep that going this year. It’s so neat to see the different shoes and see them getting bigger, too. This photo is going to be a staple in my WITL albums.

WITL4

So thankful for my sweet friend Jen for sending me the “life is full of adventure” chipboard. I lost mine. Couldn’t find it ANYWHERE. It was the last piece I needed to complete my album and she so generously said she’d give me hers. This memory keeping community is THE BEST. I’ve made the sweetest friends through this wonderful hobby. Thank you, Jen! Love you!

WITL5

I didn’t have any extra photos left over for this week and so I just took a random die cut shape that I had and stamped “good stuff” in the blank and glued it onto the back of the photo on the other side.

I WAS going to keep my album consistent throughout – doing the same pages for each day, but as I went along later in the week I decided to just do what I needed to do to get the photos in and not worry so much about that. I did keep some things consistent. I did start each day with the day of the week chipboard divider and then a 6×8 photo from that day and the hello day of the week chipboard. :)

WITL8

There’s my sweet Maggie. Bless her heart. She’s getting old. I’m thankful to have her in this album a lot.

This is the 6×8 photo on the backside of the other 6×8 photo. I used one of Ali’s digital brushes called EVERYDAY BOXES and then just copy + pasted the journaling from that day onto the photo. That’s why I love posting all of my photos on Instagram during the week with the journaling. Such an easy way to remember it all and then copy + paste into my blog and onto my pages/photos! WITL11

Every day of the week I also used the day of the week 4×6 card and then did a 4×6 next to it. I put another one of Ali’s digital brushes called HEART REAL LIFE directly onto the photo.

WITL13

Used an Ali digital brush again on the photo – boy do I love doing that! This one is from the collection called, PROMPTS DIGITAL.

You’ll see that I didn’t put the journaling on EVERY photo – just some. I’m ok with that. I also included a lot of the phrase stickers throughout as well. Love those.

On some of the days during the week I had some extra photos, so I did what I did last year and just adhered them together, punched some holes in them and put them in my album. I used the 2 inch Avery index tabs again and stamped random phrases on them as well. I did that last year, too. For this photo, I took one of the 3×4 cards in the kit and cut some of it off and adhered it to the photo to add a smidge of journaling.

Your pages look great! I like the digital stamps you included – that’s something I always forget to add before I print my photos. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the week :)
