Elle’s Studio + Sunny Days Layout

1

Have y’all seen the cute new Sunny Days Collection by Elle’s Studio? Goodness, I just love it. I used it to whip up this bright and fun layout just the other day and I wanted to share it with you. I love how the kit is PERFECT for Summer, but then it’s versatile enough that you can use it for so many other things and there are so many different coordinating products that you can get and use together or even separately. So much fun!

To create this simple layout – here’s what I did: I used 4 photos – sized approximately 3.5×2 and put them in a grid pattern on the page. I did so more at the top and centered so that I would have some room at the bottom to add some embellishments and what not. ;) I’ve got a thing with diagonal stripes and so I was giddy when I saw this pattern in the collection! I cut out two strips of the patterned paper and placed them above and below my photographs to create a frame for my photos. Then it was on to adding some of the fun embellishments from the collection.

The big puffy sun sticker was a favorite of mine! It’s so cute and perfect on this layout! I am loving all of the label die cuts in the kit, too! Great to stamp the date on, add a smidge of journaling on and more!

I used the “so much fun” wood veneer piece from the collection in the middle of the photos and I just love it! I also used the “sunny days” wood piece as well on the layout. These are great to use to give your layout a variety of texture and depth.

For the “summer” banner – I just took the yellow patterend banner die cut and layered the “summer” diecut on top of it and stapled it. Then added a puffy heart sticker and there ya go! Stamped the date, added a bit of journaling on a label die cut and then the little wooden star and it was good to go.

I actually love doing layouts every now and then, especially when I have a really cute collection with so many great coordinating goodies to use on it. It really makes it so simple to keep it all looking cohesive and come together so fast and I always love the outcome.

I hope y’all are having a great Tuesday. No Project Life update today – I need to do some catching up since I was working so long on my Week in the Life album. I’m getting back at it though and will hopefully have more to share next week! Instead I thought I’d share this layout today!

Have a great day, friends! XO!

Love this layout. I hardly ever use just a solid paper for a layout but you have really inspired me to try it.
