Project Life + Freckled Fawn

both

Happy Tuesday, friends!

Today I’m sharing more pages from my Project Life album and I’m using some super cute embellishments on my pages from the May Freckled Fawn embellishment kit called Bloom that I showed y’all yesterday! Want to see just how easy it is to add a bit here and there to your pages?

Here’s a shot of the left page.

I kept it all very simple, like I normally do, ha, and added one of the splattered paint chipboard stars from the kit to my son’s photo. I love using chipboard shapes because they are flat enough to put in the album and they add nice visual interest without having to do to much, ya know? Oh, and in case you were curious – I always put these kind of embellishments on the outside of the page protector. :)

The corkboard “play” was perfect to add to this photo of Luke. LOVE!

I used a template from my sweet friend, Tracy and created this little photo collage of Caylin celebrating her 5th Diaversary (5 years since her Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis) and love adding little round stickers to the middle. I stamped the date with  Staz On ink and was done. FF-left1

Here’s another one of those great round embellishment button stickers on a photo of my son. These are perfect to use on pages. They are a bit bulkier, but pop off the page nicely and ,once again, I put them on the outside of the page protector.

I had a lot of white space on this photo and so I used my new Slick Writer pen from Ali Edwards (oh my I LOVE this thing) to write a bit of journaling on the photo. I’m obsessed with doing this now. I’ve always loved the look of it when Ali does it, and it’s such an easy way to include some journaling on your pages. I then stamped the date under that and then added the  pretty wooden embellishment below that and then a piece of the pretty washi tape that’s also in the kit below that. I love the duplicate pattern that it has.

This 4×6 card is actually from the edition that I designed called, Confetti, and I love it. I always make sure to get some photos of myself in my album and then I stamped the date and included three totally random facts about myself on that day. Nothing crazy, but will be super neat to look back on one day. I also added one of the pearl embellishment pieces and the pretty gold foiled leaf sticker from the kit as well. Just a little texture and pop of something on the card.

I whipped out my Slick Writer once again and wrote a bit on my photos and of course did some date stamping.

And there you have it. My super simple Project Life page shares this week using some of the super cute embellishments from the May Freckled Fawn embellishment kit. You know that else I love about the kits, not only are they perfect to embellish your pocket pages with, but now I’m inspired by them to go and create a traditional layout with the embellishments! I love being able to use them on so many different forms of memory keeping!

Well, I’m off to get some laundry done and some homeschooling in, too! Hopefully I’ll be able to create some more later! If you have some pages to share, I’d love for you to link me up to them in the comments below!

Have a blessed day, friends! XO!
