BabyLit books: Perfect for your kids’ learning library

I have always been a huge fan of books, especially since becoming a Mama. I think my kids’ book collection is probably quadruple the amount that I had growing up, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. On any given day, I can find my kids with a book in their hands looking through the pages, reading words out loud and giggling to themselves. Caylin has really started to get into chapter books lately (Judy Moody is her favorite right now) and Jack loves any and all books with superheroes in them. Luke’s favorite are any and all of the BabyLit books. We have a good amount started in our collection already (about 12) & they are always the ones that I see him picking up first and “reading.” It’s the cutest thing.

I was SO excited last week to get a few of the new BabyLit books that have been recently released and, as you can imagine, Luke was super excited, too!

BabyLit has added a new series of books to their product line that focuses on the ABCs, which is so perfect right now for Luke. He’s only 2.5, but I love being able to introduce him to books that not only are super cute (the illustrations are just THE best), but that also are educational at the same time. Having these books that catch his attention like that and then teach him something is so wonderful. It’s really the best of both worlds, especially since I homeschool my kids.

When I’m homeschooling Caylin and Jack, I love being able to hand Luke these books and have him sit in his room and look through them. I’ll catch him pointing at the pictures, talking about what’s on the pages and then trying to say the letters. It’s the neatest thing and he loves it when I read them to him. The two ABC books that we got are, “V is for Vittles” and “M is for Monocle.”

Not only has BabyLit created these books to be both cute and educational, in each book you’ll find a bit of history from either the nineteenth-century American West, medieval Europe or Victorian England, too! How cool is that?

We also got a few of the new All Aboard books from BabyLit as well. We got, “All Aboard National Parks”, “All Aboard London” and “All Aboard Washington D.C.” These new books are so much fun, too. They are the same great BabyLit board books that you know and love, but these take your child on a train ride all around different places. The illustrations, once again, are super cute and your child will love turning the pages and seeing what adventure they’ll have next. Once again, these books are a great educational tool and they would even make great souvenirs for kids once they travel to the location and learn more about the area in person.

BabyLit just keeps outdoing themselves! They are most definitely the perfect addition to any toddler’s learning experience, especially if you are working with your children at home and wanting to provide them with really great reading material that will keep their imagination growing and their love of learning soaring.  I’m so thankful to have these books in our home. They really are a great addition to homeschooling our littlest one. He’s still very young and not quite ready for traditional homeschooling just yet, but it’s never too early to read him good, quality books and BabyLit books are just that. Gotta love ’em!

Another plus about these books is that they are SO durable! They’re sturdy and strong and if you’re going to be in Luke’s room – that’s a must! Ha!
