Project Life Tuesday

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday to ya!

I am SO excited to say that on Sunday, I actually finished my 2015 Project Life album. Yes! I did October through December in about 3 hours. SUPER productive afternoon and I’m just giddy about it. Now I can just mosey on into 2016 and keep working away! So – I am going to have A LOT of pages to share every week AND since I get so many questions about Project Life, I am working on a new blog series that I am going to do in the next month talking all about Project Life, why I use it and love it, the supplies I mainly use, how I edit and print my photographs, sharing some completed albums I’ve done and MORE! So – I want you to let me know if you have ANY questions at all about Project Life and how I do it and I will be sure to cover them! I’m excited! I’m going to make a permanent portfolio on my blog as well to share it all so it’s got a nice, cozy home for good here. ;)

Let’s get to my page shares for today, shall we?!

1

For this spread, I used DESIGN A page protectors and then a standard 8.5×11 page protector as well for some artwork that I wanted to include.

Here’s a shot of the left side. I used cards from the Midnight Edition, High Five Edition and Kiwi Edition, I believe. Hope I’m not missing anything. :)

Of course, you’ll see the tiny attacher used a lot and my Project Life date stamp as well.

Jack created me this sweet artwork during this time and so I wanted to be sure that I kept it. It’s the first piece of artwork where I could see him actually drawing specific things like trees, flowers, the sky and birds. TOO adorable! Just slipped it into page protector and was done!

On the back of the page protector, I slipped in this writing sheet that Caylin did during school. She was to write a simple short, story and she loved it and wanted me to save it and so I slipped it in the back. Love how it’ll document her handwriting, her love of all things Pokemon and a bit of her schooling.

Here’s a shot of the right side. :)

As you’ve seen throughout my albums, I love to slip little things that my kids make me in my album. Now, I don’t like to keep a bunch of chunky things (I will just take a picture of those and slide them in a pocket), but sweet little flat things will usually find a welcomed spot on my pages. :) Caylin made me this little heart and it was too cute NOT to include. She actually pieced it together with strips of paper, taped it in the shape of a heart, colored it and then wrote a little love note on it to me. She’s so creative, folks. LOVE her. Sigh. All I did was actually just adhered this to the back of the photo that is on the other side since it’s a white background. Easy cheesy.

I also included this little paper “Lego museum” ticket that our kids made us. Too sweet. Simple adhered it to a 4×6 card, dated it and then included a photo from one of the Lego masterpieces below it. :)

Well, there ya go! Those are my shares for today! I’ve been a creating and Project Life-ing FOOL lately and so I’ll have plenty more to share soon! Get those questions to me if you have any! You can comment and post them here or email me!

Have a blessed day, friends!

Love seeing all your spreads. Can’t wait to read your in depth PL post. I’d love to know how you pick and choose which photos to include! I take WAY TOO many photos and have trouble weeding through them! :p)
