The Silver Retreat Recap

A week ago I was just getting back from a wonderful time at the Young Living Silver Retreat in Utah. It was SO much fun! The awesome folks at Young Living hooked me up with a beautiful stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City.

I mean, look at that view. Goodness. It was beautiful.

We had some great training and presentations, along with a yummy lunch. I was finally able to meet my friend Asia who is on my team. The relationships and friendships that I have gained from this journey has to be one of the biggest blessings.

On Saturday we were given a tour of the Young Living Corporate Headquarters and then we went to the Mona Lavender Farm!

I couldn’t help myself! Ha! I was SO excited to be there and had to do a Lemon Drop Hop even though it wasn’t in the middle of the lavender fields (they were already harvested before we got there). Had to be done! ;)

I have to tell you – it was just so amazing being able to go into the nooks and crannies of Young Living’s farm and see how they do things. I mean, how many other companies do you know that will let you into all of that and answer ANY question that you have? If you used essential oils, do you know where they come from? Have you ever visited the farm where the plants were grown? Have you ever seen just how much each and every worker you meet there cares about their job and their responsibility to provide you with THE best quality of oils that’s out there? I’ve witnessed it time and time again – the heart and soul that is behind this wonderful company. I’ve seen tears shed by the company’s founder because of his passion. Have you been able to shake the hand of those working out in the fields or listened as you’re told of the extensive testing that each and every single oil goes through before it’s bottled, labeled and sent off to you? It’s an amazing thing. Every time I am in the thick of things at these events and am given the opportunity to learn more and see what is going on behind the scenes, I come away with so much thankfulness and gratefulness and just so much pride to work with a company that cares this much – not only about the products they sell, but the people all around them.

No one regulates the production of essential oils so unfortunately companies can label their bottles with whatever they want to. That’s why I believe it is SO important to see just where your oils are coming from. Young Living is the only company with the Seed to Seal guarantee and well, that’s THE number one reason why I starting using their oils in the first place. Now being able to see just how much care and passion goes into their products – it just makes me so proud and so happy to be using these products for me and my family’s health and wellness. Feels good. Real good.

Here are some more photos from the distillery on the farm:

There was a Harvest Festival going on at the farm the same weekend and so Michael and the kids were there, having fun and exploring! They came along with me to explore Utah, too. I had never been to Utah and neither had my kids.

After the fun of the weekend, we stayed an extra day so that we could explore the area a bit more. One of our most favorite places we visited was Silver Lake. It was breathtakingly beautiful!

It was such a fun week – full of God’s beauty and blessings.

One that I won’t soon forget.

Thank you Utah and thank you Young Living.
