Week in the Life: Tuesday

WITL-tues 1

Caylin LOVES to drinnk Ningxia Red with a straw like this (you probably have seen this on my Instagram if you’ve looked at it today). She’s also wearing one of her favorite shirts right now. Of course it has Pikachu on it. Sense a theme? ;)

Jack found this slinky in one of his Daddy’s tool boxes out in the garage the other day and he’s been playing with it and using his imagination every day with it since. On this day, he said that it was a telescope that could turn into super secret binoculars to find small creatures. It was one of his “spy tools.” Today, just FYI – it was a super long worm (he’d stretch it out) and it was eating spiders. ;)

Snapped this shot as I waited for an appointment yesterday morning. I just loved the super pretty, clean and modern furniture and look of the place!

5

Luke is ALWAYS standing up on the couch and playing with these wicker balls that I have in this basket. He knows he’s NOT supposed to be messing with them, but he keeps doing it and I caught him in the act. Tsk. Tsk. ;)

6

Took a quick selfie with Luke! I just love that smile.

I gave Jack a bath when Luke was taking his nap. He loves to bring a bunch of his toys into the bath and he’ll spend a good hour in there just playing. It’s the sweetest sound hearing him playing in there. Baths are his favorite and giving him a bath allows me to do some work in my office. ;)

7

Speaking of me in my office, I used my timer to snap this picture of me on my computer. Nothing spectacular, but wanted to document it. I look like a total goob! Ha!

8

Emptying the dishwasher.

9

Played outside for a bit again last night. Luke always grabs the big basketball.

12

Played some Old Maid for a bit. Jack won, Caylin came in second and I was stuck with the Old Maid. Go figures. ;)

11

The last picture I took last night was me reading Caylin and Jack a book. The photo didn’t turn out the greatest and I’m mid-word in the photo, but I still love it. This project is allowing me to really focus and take the time to snap those photos that I might not otherwise take and for that, I’m SUPER grateful.

Well, there’s day 2 of my WITL. I didn’t take a whole bunch of photos today, but happy with what I did take. I think as long as the pictures I take give a good, well-rounded picture of our life right now, I’ll be satisfied. :) How are you doing on yours? Hope you are having a great week and snapping away!

Love your honesty and outlook. This is my first WITL I have pondered it for years… Scrapped for 15 years but never “had time” now I am finally making the time… It’s so important. Glad I stumbled on your blog! I’ll be a new follower for sure!
