Right Now: Week 8

It’s Friday! Yay!

I’ve been an overachiever this week when it comes to my Right Now Challenge! Patting myself on the back! Ha!

Here’s what I’ve got for this week:

  • The other night we made Jack sleep in his bed so he doesn’t get TOO used to being in Caylin’s bed (they have been sleeping in Caylin’s big bed a lot together and having fun). Well, I was tucking Jack into his bed and he was sad so I read him a book, sung him his lullaby and kissed him goodnight. I headed on over to Caylin in her bed and when I was tucking her in and SHE had a sad look on her face. She said that she was going to miss Jack that night and that he was her best friend. I said, “well, do you want him to sleep in here then tonight?” She smiled big and said, “Yes, I do!” So I went and told him and he was SO exited! He basically skipped to her room and when they were reunited it was so sweet! Caylin said, “I just love you Jack! I was sad when you weren’t in here. I missed you!” Then Jack reached over to give her a hug and said, “Love is on the way!!” I melted. Sigh.
  • Jack said I looked like a scientist when I was washing dishes. I was wearing dish washing gloves. ;)
  • Feb. 17th – the day that Caylin accepted Jesus into her heart.
  • Jack: “I’m going to put my hands in my pocket like this – just like a man does!”
  • Luke played in the snow for the first time. He loved it! (Feb. 18)
  • Jack: “Caylin is the best sister because she let me play Mario by myself!”

See! Told ya I jotted down a bunch this week! ;) Hope you are having a great week!

XOXO!

The Right Now Challenge is a challenge that I have given myself to jot down some of the simple, everyday moments that happen in my life. Every Friday I post what I’ve written down for the week to hold myself accountable and also to get these little sweet, tidbits into my memory keeping. You can find out more about what I started this challenge HERE.
