Organize your Photos

organized-photos1

My sweet friend, Rebecca of the Simple As That blog, is starting a 12-month series today called “One Year to more Organized Photos.” I am SUPER excited about it! I am ok when it comes to keeping my photos organized, but I am in MAJOR need of going through all of the photos that I have 1) lying around that need to be saved (older photos, etc) 2) backing up my photos to my hard drive 3) and weeding out and cleaning out the photos that I don’t want to keep. I’d love to just get a better system down for saving my photos, archiving them, organizing them and keeping them safe.

I highly recommend that you head on over to her blog HERE and read the start of the series today! I’m SO thankful she is doing this series and can’t wait to have a better photo organizing system at the end of the year!

Have a great Monday, friends!

This is going to be a great series! I feel like I am fairly organized with my digital photos, but I know I can be better (especially about deleting bad pics and duplicates). About the Sharpies… Actually, only the Sharpie Pens are acid free. Regular Sharpies (both fine and ultra fine) are not. I’ve bought and used Sharpie Pens several times, and have found that they are not that great. The tips tend to wear out quickly. Anyway, my favorite pens for writing on photos are the Zig brand. I get them at Hobby Lobby (see here) and keep them in a special jar so I remember to only use them for photos. :)

Oops! I meant to post that comment on Rebecca’s blog. :) Got my tabs mixed up when I was copying and pasting that link, I guess. Sorry about that!
