Project Life Tuesday

PROJECT-LIFE-GRAPHIC

Happy Project Life® Tuesday!

I took a bit of a break last week with Christmas right around the corner. There’s been plenty of fun family time and relaxation. I’m super excited to be sharing more pages today and hopefully catching up with the rest of this year before the new year starts. We’ll see if that happens seeing as how I’m working on mid-October! Ha! Feels good to keep on moving though! ;)

Here are my page shares for today:

For this week’s pages I am using the DESIGN A page protectors (like normal) and also included one 8.5×11 page protector to hold a picture my daughter drew and also to include a piece of my son’s birthday decor. You’ll see that up close more in just a bit.

Here’s the left side:

I used kits from the Jade Edition, Blush Edition and Kiwi Edition.

Oh, and I found a NEW favorite pen to use. I have used the Precision Pens by American Crafts for a LONG time. I love them, but I always prefer a bit of a bigger tip for writing. I tried the Becky Higgin’s Project Life Precision Pro pens and grabbed the 05 tip to use and it’s PERFECT. LOVE it. It’s my new favorite – even over my beloved Sharpie pen. :-D So if you are looking for some good pens to use for Project Life – try THESE pens out! You get a 01, 03 and 05 tip in this package!

Here’s a look at the insert I included this week:

I wanted to be sure that I included this sweet picture that Caylin drew with some new oil pastels that she got. Slipping it into the 8.5×11 page protector was the perfect way to protect it and include it in my album.

I used the back of the page protector to slip in this Power Ranger piece of decoration from Jack’s 4th birthday party that I am talking about on the opposite page. I just wanted to be sure I kept a little bit of his party.

I used most of this page to document Jack’s 4th birthday, but I did add a photo of Luke in the top right slot. I honestly didn’t have any other pictures to include and so I didn’t want to leave that empty or fill it with a filler card so I just put a photo of Luke there. ;) I used a photo template by my friend, Tracy. You can find them HERE.

I was sure to talk about what Jack wanted on his birthday and also some pictures from his special day. I even included a photo of him sleeping (he had a GREAT day and was worn out). If you follow me on Instagram you know I love taking photos of my kids sleeping, especially Jack. He even has his own hashtag – #jackryansleeps. ;)

I love using the 3×4 slots going across the page for a sequence of photos. :)

Well, there you have it! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that the rest of your week is great! I am working on a blog design update so if you see anything wonky going on over here – that’s why. Hoping to launch the new look of my site on the 1st or there about! Super excited!

Have a great Tuesday! XOXO!
