Project Life® Tuesday

PROJECT-LIFE-GRAPHIC

Happy Project Life® Tuesday!

Ok, you want to know just HOW quick and easy Project Life® is? I seriously did this two-page spread THIS MORNING. I kid you not. I did have the photos just about ready to go, but I’m telling you – all you have to do is have photos ready and then a kit to work with (or in my case today a few Project Life® kits and the awesome February OHDEERME embellishment kit) and you can slip stuff in, journal and date and be done! I keep telling myself NOT to wait until the last minute, but um … you know how it goes! I love Tuesdays though because it keeps me on track and holds me accountable! ;)

Ok, so here are my pages for today …

both

Here’s a snapshot like usual of both pages. The kits I pulled out and used today are: BLUSH, HONEY, JUST ADD COLOR and February OHDEERME Embellishment Kit from Freckled Fawn. I LOVE how the OHDEERME embellishment kits can be used to easily in Project Life®. From the stamps and the washi tape, to the paperclips and stickers – it’s just ALL so easily incorporates into your pages AND you will have lots left over for more creative projects! Yippeeeee!

Oh, and I used DESIGN A page protectors yet again and then a 5×7 page protector as well. You’ll see that up close in a minute. ;)

Here’s a silly photo that I can’t believe I’m sharing, but I am. Just keepin’ it real. Ha! I love being silly with my kids. If you follow me on Instgram you have seen the below photo of me with my kids. My goal is to get IN the photo with them more in 2014. It’s so easy to be the one taking the photo, but just ask your hubby, relative, friend or heck – set up the tripod and GET IN THE PHOTO. You will be happy you did and your kids will love it, too! Do you have to look perfect? NO. Do you have to have the cutest outfit on and the best hair and makeup? NO. Come on now – who else lives in yoga pants and messy buns? Your kids WILL NOT CARE. They just want to see YOU in the pictures too and those pictures will be a treasure one day. Heck, you will treasure them TODAY. Ok, so do it. That’s my challenge to you. Take a picture with your kids THIS WEEK and get it into your Project Life® album. I mean it. I’m not kidding. Don’t make me come and get ya! ;)

Ok, getting off of soapbox now! Ha! Moving on …

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention how stinkin’ cute that little wooden camera is! Ack! It’s in the Feb. OHDEERME kit. Get you one.

Here’s that photo I took with my kids (hair pulled back/makeupless face and all) and a card from the BLUSH kit. The 3×4 overlay is super easy to add to your photo and that’s in the OHDEERME kit, too!

Another close up. I just love the resin cameo that has the little man icon on it. Adorable! The blue goes perfect with all of the blue that Luke is loving lately! ;)

closeup4

I used a “CURRENTLY” card from the BLUSH kit to jot down some of Luke’s “currents” and then added another cute 3×4 overlay to the photo of Luke in his exersaucer from the Freckled Fawn OHDEERME kit. Easy cheesy.

Ok, here’s that 5×7 page protector I was talking about that I included this week. I am loving those lately. They’re just the perfect size to stick goodies into. For this week, I stuck the little handmade card that Caylin and Jack made me for my birthday. The “LOVE” paperclip was perfect to attach to it! The paperclip isn’t in February’s OHDEERME kit, but you can buy that paperclip and SO many cute other ones in the Freckled Fawn shop HERE. Ack! LOVE the paperclips!

Love the washi tape that came in the February OHDEERME kit! It has the diagonal stripes AND hearts on it. I used the hearts part on a photo on the left side of the spread, but on the above card, I used the diagonal stripes part! It’s like two washi tapes in one! LOL! I love me some washi tape. :)

Here’s a close-up and you can also see the cute light blue pearl stickers that I added to a 3×4 card on the bottom just for a little embellished touch.

closeup6

Photo template (top right) is from Tracy Larsen, of course. :) It was Luke’s first time in the swing and he LOVED it. Can you tell? ;)

closeup7

Oooh, I think the above 4×6 card is actually from one of the Childhood kits. Yep, I’m pretty sure. Simple journaling and date. Love his sweet, baby smile!

closeup8

Of course I included my “Right Now” challenge card (above) and then I used one of the stamps from the February OHDEERME kit to embellish the photo of my sweet Jack giving the thumbs up. “AWESOME” is also one of Jack’s favorite words (he says it a lot) so the stamp reminds me of that, too. ;)

And there you have it. Two-page spread completed in just a couple of hours – just like that. Ha! I wish the lighting when I took the photos would have been better, but I’ll take what I can get and I still hope you were able to get some inspiration from the pages!

Thank you SO much for stopping by! I’m still working on the photo post I am going to do (hopefully in the next couple of weeks) so be on the lookout for that! If you have any questions – leave me a comment below and I’m happy to answer them!

In the meantime, have a GREAT day! Hugs!!
