The Duenke Family

My best friend, Nichole, is one of the sweetest people I know. Her family is equally sweet, too. :) I’m happy to report that after not seeing each other for over 2 years, we finally met up and had such a great time! :)

Both of our families drove a little over 4 hours to meet each other halfway right outside of Cincinnati. We went to the Creation Museum, which was wonderful and also hit up IKEA in Ohio, too. I was like a kid in a candy store at IKEA. It was my first time there and although I actually didn’t buy myself anything (CRAZY I KNOW!) my kids sure did make out great! I was hoping to find these ODBY frames – http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20200239/ – but didn’t have any luck. They were doing some remodeling and things were a bit crazy, but it was fun to finally step foot in an IKEA. For those of you who have an IKEA close – I’m jealous, but I’m sure my husband is happy about it! ;)

I loved finally meeting her sweet sons, Grayson and Liam. They are cutie pies. :)

Yep, it was a really good trip. Glad to be home, but blessed to have some incredibly special and sweet people in our lives. Love you, Duenkes! We can’t wait until next time! ;)
