30 days of gratitude: Day 3

Day 3:

I am grateful today for the many wonderful friendships I have made through the awesome hobby of scrapbooking. :) One of those sweet friendships is my super talented friend, Crystal Wilkerson. Love you, friend! Have you ver have a friend that came into your life at just the perfect time and it just felt God planned? Yep, that’s how it felt when we became friends. :)

I wanted to tell you about this really awesome challenge that Crystal has over at her blog.

She is going to have beautiful quote about gratitude daily and the challenge is:

Isn’t that wonderful? It goes right along with what I am doing this month – 30 days of gratitude. I just love Crystal’s idea and think it is going to be another blessing to me this month, not to mention the quotes and graphics are beautiful.

Here’s the first quote:

And another wonderful thing about Crystal’s challenge is that she is going to have all 30 gratitude quote graphics for sale (high res jpg. format) and for just $5 you can purchase them all and 100% of the proceeds will go to another sweet friend of ours, Emily Norton, whose family has been going through a difficult time after her husband was diagnosed with brain cancer. You can read more about Emily and her beautiful family on Crystal’s blog HERE as well.

So spread the word, won’t you and join us as we focus on gratitude this month.

Sending you BIG hugs and blessings to you!

When I was 22 years old, I fell so ill that I had to rely on my loved ones to dress me, feed me and carry me from my room to the bathroom, living room or to my wheelchair. This illness took its toll on me and 9 months later, the doctors discovered I’d had an incredibly rare virus that had attacked my immune system and caused me develop an auto-immune disorder called fibromyalgia. I had prayed to become a more persevering woman and God was testing me to my very core. I decided to surrender every aspect of life to Him as I recovered and became very “Spirit-focused” which in turn helped me to be peaceful and grateful for small things I hadn’t noticed before. I met my husband 6 months into my illness and he was willing to love me and care for me, despite the downfalls of my illness. We just celebrated our 12 year anniversary in December and have 2 beautiful girls to show for it. I have become a woman of extreme faith and perseverance, even though the road I had to travel on is not the one I would have chosen, but it was the one God always knew I needed to travel on.
