Susan Weinroth: An Auction for Caylin’s Cure

Susan Weinroth has been someone that I’ve admired for a long time. Not only are her scrapbook layouts always my FAVORITE, but I love her photographs, her beautiful quilts and anything crafty that she makes. She is truly so very inspiring.

Susan has so generously donated a beautiful mini quilt that she made a bit ago for the Fiskars website.

This mini quilt is 17.5×21 inches and was made using the Fiskars Woodland Tree template to design the applique and LOTS of Flea Market Fnacy prints. She quilted around the tree limbs and leaves with an “echo” stitch and it’s just SO gorgeous. It would make a lovely display piece in your home.

Since Susan designed this mini-quilt with the front in mind for display purposes – the back is not as “pretty” as her regular sized quilts usually are – if you’d like to see a photo of the back, feel free to email me and I’ll send one along.

This auction, like all of the other auctions on my blog, will have the highest bid go toward Caylin’s Cure.

If you have any questions, please email me and let me know. You can bid anonymously – just place your bid on this blog post and then email me your name and bid so that I know it’s legit.

I’ll start the bid at $25.This auction will close on Tuesday, July 12th.

Please spread the word and place your bid for not only this beautiful mini quilt handmade by the talented Susan Weinroth, but to help a great cause as we try to raise as much money as we can to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.

Thanks so much! BIG hugs!
