MS Walk Winners!

I just first of all, want to thank everyone who donated to the MS Walk fundraiser that I am participating in in honor of my Mom. I was so touched by your generosity, kindness and support. THANK YOU! I surpassed my goal of $500 and that made me feel really good! Tomorrow is the walk and I’m praying the weather cooperates! I will take some pictures and post them soon on my blog!

This fundraiser was a big success and I couldn’t have done it without your help so thank you again – a million times! Now – here’s a fair warning for you … put aside a bit of money each week because I am going to have an ever BIGGER fundraiser during the Summer for the cause that has now become even closer to my heart – the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The “Walk for a Cure” is going to be this Fall and of course my family and I will be walking, not only for our daughter, but for the countless other children and families facing what we are newly facing because of Type 1 Diabetes. I have a bunch up my sleeve for this fundraiser and I’m about to hit the ground running on it soon to organize it all and get a HUGE amount of awesome prizes that you can win. My goal is going to be (brace yourself) $10,000. Yes, you read that right, LOL. I’m going BIG or going home for this one. It means too much to me. I’d raise a million dollars if I could, but obviously THAT isn’t realistic so I’m going a tad bit smaller with my goal. ;) Anyway, more about that at a later date once I get all of my ducks in a row and get going on it. 

Thank you again SO much. You are all wonderful and more than anything your thoughts, words of encouragement for my Mom, sharing your stories with me about those who you love and know with MS and prayers have lifted me up so much.
