People and companies that I love vol. 1

Hi there everyone!

It’s good to finally have a moment to sit down and type up a new blog post. This is a blog post that I’ve been wanting to post for awhile now. You see, one of my most favorite things to encounter in my life are generous, good-hearted and kind people. It’s not too hard to find them nowadays even though with the shape that the world is in and how horrible the news seems to be. Lately I have come across some sweet people and wonderful companies and I just wanted to share a bit about them with you. I think it’s VERY important to support and spread the word about good people and companies. So I’m doing just that. I’m sure there will be many more of these kind of posts from me in the future, but for now – this is where it starts. :-D

First up is Hero Arts.

I just love not only how giving and generous this company is, but I also love that they make their stamps in the USA and that their artists are so inspiring, wonderful and sweet. If you haven’t checked out their blog HERE – you must! Also, their new catalog with amazing stamps was just released and you should check it out HERE. There are so many beautiful stamps that they offer! It’s so hard to choose! I did just get a shipment of some stamps the other day and these are the ones I decided to add to my must have stamp collection:

Aren’t those all just so cute? I can’t wait to use them this weekend! I will post what I create with them soon! In the meantime, I’ve already started making a list of the new ones that are must-haves, too! Here are just a few of those:
Ok, I better stop there! LOL! See what I mean though?! I love the quality of their stamps and how sweet everyone I have met associated with Hero Arts is. A great company that definitely deserves our business and support! :-D
Next up is Persnickety Prints.
I can’t say enough great things about this company. I recently started using them to print photos & digital layouts and I have to say – the quality, customer service, prices and turnaround time is AWESOME. Not to mention the folks there are so sweet. They often have great sales going on, have digital freebies on their site and they offer everything from photo books & cards to photo printing and digital layout printing all at a great price! You definitely need to check out their site HERE! I have been very impressed with them and recommend their services to everyone I know!

I also want to talk to you about one of my favorite places to go Etsy! I’m sure a lot of you love that site as well! I could spend hours looking through all of the awesome things for sale! There is one sweet etsy seller/artist that I have come across that I want to mention on my blog. Her name is Aimee Dolich and she has a great blog HERE and a great etsy store HERE. Both I just love! She is an amazing artist who doodles beautifully! I’ve always been a big fan of doodling, but her doodles are just so beautiful! I’ve purchased from her store a few times and love the quality of her products and the beauty of her artwork. One of my favorite pieces is this piece:

I have purchased this print and also this print in magnet form a few times over to share with friends. I know all of you scrapbookers, card makers and crafters I know will love the sentiment! It’s SO true! I just love how colorful and whimsical her work is! You’ve gotta check her out – you are sure to be inspired!
I also want to mention Scrapbook Trends.
Back in the day when I would submit A LOT, this is the publication I found myself putting most of the effort into. I have had the pleasure of being in many of Scrapbook Trends publications in years past and although I haven’t had the time to submit lately, I remember all of the wonderful people at the company that I came across. I have even made some sweet friends from that company. I love how full of inspiration each of their publications are! Now they have online copies of their publication that you can read and you can do month-to-month as well. I love their Cards magazines, too! SO much eye candy! It’s ridiculous!
The last company I want to mention today is American Crafts.

I had the pleasure of being on the AC design team from 2006-2008 and it was one of the best experiences ever. American Crafts is not only one of my most favorite companies, but they are also a very generous company. Whether it’s to their design team or to wonderful charities, American Crafts has always come through and I love that. I know it will always be my most favorite scrapbooking company. :-D

Want to know something ALL of these wonderful companies/people have in common? They have all been a part of the Cards for Kids card drive. Each one of them have donated products so generously and that is also something I love about each of them.

I’m not the type of person to “advertise” a company or an artist because they ask me to or because I get something out of it – I just like to share the great experiences and companies that I come across because I do think it’s important to support people and companies that give back, care and are good people. It’s that simple. Thanks for reading this far and for bearing with me and my sporadic posting. I promise to keep this blog updated more and offer more freebies, giveaways and inspiration!

Have a blessed day! I’m off to browse etsy for a bit! ;) Hugs!
