20 In Happiness

MIA

Hi there!
Where oh where have I been? Maybe some of you have been wondering that! I’m sorry to be missing-in-action for so long, but I’ve had a good reason. A couple weeks ago I took three of these:

Yes, three of them, LOL and we found out we’re expecting! I think automatically my body told me to slow it down and I’ve been struggling to find energy ever since. ;) I have bouts of nausea on and off during the day (it’s worse at night) and I haven’t really felt like being on the computer much at all, so that’s another reason for the lack of blog posts! I promise though that this won’t be the norm around here – I just have to get through this first trimester and I’ll get back to creating, blogging and posting! Please bear with me! :-D

Another VERY important update that I wanted to give you all is the Cards for Kids Prizes and extension. Here are some answers to some of the FAQs I get. Some good info here:

  • Turns out the siblings of the ill children are really enjoying the cards. So, feel free to send cards just for the siblings if you are short on time.
  • Many people want ideas for cards for kids. HERE are some excellent ones from Heather. The more cheerful the cards can be, the better. Talk about your pets. Include a silly picture. Anything.
  • We have added two new children to the card drive. Their stories are unbelievable – check them out here: Karli and Aria.
  • We are extending this next deadline to April 30th.
  • If you are new to the blog, you can find out all the information HERE about the drive.

I also wanted to share this sweet video that Kate’s Dad, Aaron, posted on his blog. It’s another video in the day of the life of Kate. You should watch it and please continue to pray for Kate and her family.

Also, please pray for sweet Layla Grace and her family. My heart breaks for them. Please become a fan of this store’s facebook page – Layla Grace. Every fan the receive, they are donating one dollar to the family of Layla Grace.

Hug your children today. VERY tightly. And may God bless you all who do the simple things to brighten the days of the lives of these children.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask and please send them in! Thank you all so much and hopefully I’ll update my sweet little blog better than I have been the last couple of weeks! Hugs!
