Notebook Doodles and a layout

Happy Tuesday sweet friends!
Hope your week is going well. I’ve got a couple of things to share with you today. First of all, I found this site on another blog and just LOVED it! It’s so creative and cute. It’s called, “Notebook Doodles” and you can find it HERE. I just love these:
Check out these 100 quotes in doodles that she has HERE, too. Wow. Amazing and so creative. Love it!

The other thing I have to share with you is a scrapbook page. I know! It has been WAY too long. I had so much fun making this. I think after doing all of this digital work I forgot just how satisfying and rewarding it is to actually sit down, pull out some goodies and CREATE something with my hands. Sure digital is fun, but it just could never replace that feeling of sitting down and creating something tangible. I’ve got a bit photo order coming in the mail and lots of scrapbooking to do to be on the lookout! It feels good to get back to that, too. Gotta make it a priority. Today I have a layout posted over on the AMLT Blog. You can check that out HERE.
Here’s the layout I created:

Here’s the journaling: You are my little budding photographer. Right now at four you hate having your picture taken, but you LOVE to take pictures. I thought it would be interesting to see just what kind of pictures you’d take if I let you use my little point and shoot camera for a day. This is a little collage of the photos that you took on 01.07.10. As I was looking through them I couldn’t help but smile and giggle. It’s so sweet to see what you took pictures of, including the multiple photos of your feet, LOL. I’m so glad that you love to take pictures. I guess having a camera in your face your whole life so far you were bound to finally pick one up one day and see what it’s all about. Maybe one day we can go photograph things together and then sit back, look at the photos we’ve taken and giggle and smile some more. Yep, I’’m so looking forward to that day.

This layout makes me smile. That’s my girl. ;) Oh, and I used this program to make the collage – http://www.shapecollage.com/. It’s pretty neat! Well, have a great day! Hugs!
