So much to catch up on…

Hi there!
Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA for a bit.
Remember that food poisoning my husband had? Well, let’s just say it wasn’t food poisoning after all. Blech. Yeah. Not fun. We’re all on the mend, thankfully, but December DID NOT start off the way I had hoped. Glad we’re getting back to the holiday spirit. I love this time of year and to see my daughter sick was not making my mood very good. I had a major case of the blahs, but not anymore, thank goodness!

First of all, while I was away, Crystal and I decided for the holidays to put our holiday blogs out there for only $15! That is a steal folks! We decided that they’re so quick and easy to do that we’d knock the price down a bit. So go HERE to check out the details. This will be going on until the 15th.

Also, Crystal has beautiful holiday postcards for sale that you can see HERE.

Here are some samples:

Aren’t they beautiful? So, if you still have Christmas cards to send out – these would be great! And if you aren’t sure how to use a template, Crystal will make your holiday postcard for you for only $15. Just choose your postcard from her blog HERE, send her your pictures, & she’ll take care of the rest. If you want her to edit your photos and/or turn them into B&W or sepia, she can do that for an extra $5. When she’s finished she’ll send you a flattened .jpeg which you can upload to any online photo store. How cool and easy is that? Awesome! I need to get going on my Christmas cards. LOL. I’m a bit behind on things now, but hope to get a good couple of shots soon and I’m definitely using one of Crystal’s templates!

Also, please don’t forget that if you want to be a part of Kate’s Crazy Cool Christmas the presents for the children need to be mailed out so they arrive by the 15th! See details about all of that HERE. Also, donations are still be accepted through the beautiful Kit for Kate digital kit that Crystal designed a few months back to help the McRae family pay for Kate’s medical expenses. I’m happy to report that to date we have raised over $2000 because of sweet, generous and wonderful folks like YOU! Click HERE for details if you want to know more. We’ll be accepting donations until the end of the year.

And last but not least, I can’t post without some photos so here are some that are making me smile that I’ve taken recently.

I saw this random smiley on Caylin’s toy box last week and it made me giggle and smile, too. I love how creative she is. The girl loves smileys. ;)

And I found this little crayon person on my desk in my studio. Heehee! She had those eye stickers from a cute little monster sticker pack and thought it would be cute to make little crayon people. That made me giggle, too. I love those sweet little finds that pop up all over the house in unexpected places. Totally make my heart happy. Sigh.

I thought I’d also share some old Christmas photographs through the years too, here and there.

This photo is of me and my older sister, Kerrie.
I wish things were different between her and I, but right now it has been almost 4 years since we’ve talked. This is just one more reason why I love photographs. Photographs capture and hold onto that moment in time forever. I miss my sister. I also love how when I look at the photograph it reminds me of things like that plastic snowman we had forever and I remember those ornaments on the tree as well. Childhood memories to cherish for sure. I’ll be sharing more old Christmas pictures from now until Christmas.

Well, that’s it for right now, I hope you have a blessed day today. I’ll be back soon.
