Where did the weekend go?

Hi blog readers! :-D
Can you believe it’s Monday already? Geesh!
The weekend just flies by, doesn’t it? Well, I hope you are having a great Monday!
I spent the morning at the dentist so I’m sure you had more fun than I did! :-D

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that my creating mojo was on fire this weekend and I actually finished SEVEN layouts! Can you believe that? I had a blast and only a few of those are for assignments so I just need to scan them and will be sharing them with you soon! Check back soon.

In the meantime, check out THIS adorable Etsy store.

Oh. My. Goodness. Look at those cute wooden owls. Yep, I need one. LOL.Very cute things in that store. Oh, and a little Cards for Kate update – I have gotten SEVERAL new prize donations from some AWESOME folks over the weekend. My heart was just SO full from the kindness and generous I received after inquiring to some people. The outpouring of love for Kate and her family was amazing and I will be forwarding those prize updates on to Jennifer to update the prize section very soon, so keep checking that as well. Don’t forget that you still have plenty of time to make a card or cards for Kate and her family. Even if you already sent some in, you can make some more if you want to keep sending in some loves, prayers, support and of course smiles! Extra silly cards are definitely encouraged!! Let’s make her giggle! :-D

Also, something really cool happened in regards to Kate – Dr. Phil mentioned Kate on his blog in the past and he did it again on Friday. You can click HERE and HERE to read them. I also wanted to share this beautiful song that a beautiful singer/songwriter from Nashville named Audrey Assad wrote for Kate. It’s called “Little light” and it’s beautiful and makes me cry every time I hear it. Be sure to have some tissue handy. That is your warning.

Last but not least – one of my favorite Christian bands of all time – MercyMe – went to visit Kate in the hospital and they also asked for prayers for her on their blog. You can check that out HERE. Kate is touching so many lives and her and her family are showing so many people the way to Jesus despite the difficult time they are facing right now. It fills my heart with so much hope and I am just so glad to be a part of something that is lifting up this beautiful little girl and her family with love, support and prayers. Please continue to pray for Kate and her family. Thank you for reading if you got this far. I’m rambling a little bit today! :-D Check back soon! Hugs!
