Just a little warning. This is going to be a sappy blog post. :)
If you don’t have the pleasure of knowing my sweet friend, Nichole, you need to. Nichole and I have been friends for awhile now. I actually remember enjoying her scrapbook pages (and her AWESOME handwriting, hee hee) when I first logged into 2peas back in 2004. We lost touch for a bit and then when my husband was thinking about interviewing for a job in Ohio, I knew she lived there and so I e-mailed her.
Our friendship picked right back up from where we had left off and the job thing didn’t work out (we decided against interviewing there), but I honestly don’t think that the job was the reason behind it all anyway. I honestly think that God was just giving me a little path back to my sweet friend Nichole and I am so very, very grateful for that. :)
She is beautiful inside and out, funny, loves God, has amazing creative talent and has become like a sister to me. Even though we have never met in real life, I feel like we have been friends forever. She prays for me, encourages me, supports me, lets me vent when I need to and she is there for me. She has helped me so much these last couple of years since we got back in touch. God knew I needed someone in my life like her and my life is even more blessed with her in it. :)
So, since she did a little shout out to me on her blog the other day, I knew it was only fitting that I tell all of my faithful blog readers just how wonderful I think SHE is and how much I appreciate all that she does for me. One day I hope to meet my sweet friend in person and when I do, I owe her a few hundred hugs. :)
